Quality-of-Service (QoS) techniques improve system performance by allocating resources to the applications that will provide the most benefit. In this paper we describe how to employ QoS techniques to improve the performance of concurrently executing control applications. We present results from a real implementation that show that these techniques can reduce control system error by more than 20% compared to a non-adaptive control system on the same sequence of randomly generated control system perturbations.
