I present a new numerical tool for studying the interaction of meridional flows and magnetic fields, and study their role in establishing angular-momentum balance in the solar radiative zone.
Quantitative comparisons with helioseismic observations provide stringent constraints on existing models of the dynamics of the solar interior.
